Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, located approximately 50 kilometers from Arusha with a transfer time of about 1 hour, you will be warmly welcomed by our professional safari guide from Martial Eagle Adventures. After a short briefing about your upcoming adventure, you will be transferred to your lodge in Arusha for relaxation and overnight stay.

Arusha sits at the base of Mount Meru and serves as the gateway to Tanzania’s Northern Safari Circuit. Depending on your arrival time, you may enjoy leisure time at the lodge, recover from travel, and prepare for the exciting days ahead. Day 4

After breakfast, drive approximately 110 kilometers from Tarangire or 125 kilometers from Arusha, taking about 2 hours, to reach Lake Manyara National Park, which covers 330 square kilometers, with two-thirds of the area covered by the lake.

Lake Manyara is famous for its tree-climbing lions, flamingos, hippos, and diverse birdlife. You will enjoy a half-day game drive through groundwater forests, open plains, and lakeshore habitats. The scenic beauty of the Great Rift Valley escarpment provides spectacular photographic opportunities.
