Day 1

Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, located approximately 50 kilometers from Arusha with a driving time of about one hour, you will be warmly welcomed by a professional driver guide from Martial Eagle Adventures. After a brief introduction and assistance with your luggage, you will enjoy a comfortable transfer through scenic landscapes toward Arusha, the gateway to Tanzania’s northern safari circuit.

Arusha is a lively town nestled at the base of Mount Meru and serves as the starting point for many Tanzania safari tours. Upon arrival at your selected lodge or hotel, you will check in and enjoy time to relax after your international journey. Depending on your arrival time, you may choose to unwind in the lush gardens of your lodge, take a refreshing swim, or enjoy a short orientation about your upcoming safari adventure. Day 2

Tarangire National Park

After an early breakfast at your lodge in Arusha, you will depart for Tarangire National Park, located approximately 120 kilometers southwest of Arusha with a drive time of about 2 to 2.5 hours. The scenic drive passes through Maasai villages and open savannah landscapes, offering a glimpse of rural Tanzanian life along the way.

Tarangire National Park is renowned for its large elephant populations, majestic baobab trees, and diverse wildlife. Upon arrival at the park, you will begin an extensive game drive through varied habitats including riverine forests, grasslands, and seasonal swamps. Day 3

Lake Manyara National Park Half Day and Mto wa Mbu Cultural Tour

After breakfast, depart for Lake Manyara National Park, located about 70 kilometers from Tarangire and approximately 1.5 hours drive. This compact yet diverse park lies at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment and offers stunning scenery and rich wildlife viewing opportunities.

Lake Manyara National Park is famous for its tree climbing lions, lush groundwater forests, and large flocks of flamingos along the alkaline lake. During your morning game drive, you may encounter elephants, hippos, giraffes, baboons, and a wide variety of bird species. The park’s unique ecosystem includes forest, savannah, and lakeshore environments, providing excellent wildlife diversity within a relatively small area.

Day 4

Ngorongoro Crater Exploration and Overnight in Karatu

After an early breakfast, depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, located about 30 kilometers from Karatu with a driving time of approximately 45 minutes to one hour to the crater gate. Upon arrival, descend into the world famous Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s most spectacular wildlife destinations and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The Ngorongoro Crater is the largest intact volcanic caldera in the world, spanning about 260 square kilometers. The descent into the crater takes around 30 minutes, revealing a breathtaking landscape teeming with wildlife. This unique ecosystem supports an incredible concentration of animals including the Big Five which are lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and the rare black rhino. Other species include hyenas, hippos, zebras, wildebeest, flamingos, and numerous antelope species.

Upon arrival in Arusha, you may enjoy lunch at a local restaurant or relax at a day room depending on your flight schedule.

At the appropriate time, you will be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport, located about 50 kilometers from Arusha, for your international departure. Martial Eagle Adventures ensures a smooth and comfortable transfer, marking the end of your unforgettable Tanzania safari experience.
